Osteria Via Stato and Pizzeria Via Stato are now entertaining the Italian tradition of ‘Aperitivo’ in Chicago! Join in us Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. for our happy hour specials including $5 glasses of wine (red, white, Prosecco); $5 pints of draft beer; and an $8 cocktail-of-the-day!

Romance is in the air at Osteria Via Stato! Celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14 in our warm, candle-lit dining room with a delicious four-course menu prepared by Chef David DiGregorio. Chef DiGregorio Offers Seasonal Italian Fare

Founded on Chef DiGregorio’s travels throughout Italy, Osteria Via Stato, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, follows the Italian tradition of seasonally-prepared dishes featuring local ingredients and paired with an all-Italian wine list with more than 300 Italian labels. In 2007, he opened Pizzeria Via Stato.  Nestled within Osteria Via Stato, the cozy, Roman pizzeria extends the restaurant’s warm, gracious hospitality.


With over 300 Italian labels, we have pages and pages of tempting varietals and cellars filled with hand selected bottles of wine for you to choose from (obsess over if you like). Covering the boot– from Piedmont to Sicily and everything in between, you are sure to find a multitude of delicious options to complement your meal. If you want to leave it to us, however, just put down the wine list tell us…“Just bring me wine!”


Join us for Just Bring Me Lunch, a quick, three-course (soup, sandwich, slice of chocolate tart) option designed to provide a satisfying, delicious meal in a hurry, available Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for only $9.95 per person. Add $4 and get a pizza instead of a sandwich!


Just Bring My Office Lunch!Let Pizzeria Via Stato handle your next office luncheon! Offering a myriad of salads, sandwiches, pastas and dessert, Just Bring My Office Lunch is available for pick-up or delivery (delivery fees are 20% outside our complimentary 4-block radius zone) Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Perfect for groups of any size, please allow 24 hours notification for groups of ten or more (though we will do our darndest to make last-minute plans work as well).
