A St. Joseph’s Day Tradition ~ Zeppole
You can’t celebrate St. Joseph’s Day without the traditional zeppole! These light-weight, cream-filled fritters (topped with house-marinated cherries) are the traditional pastry of this Italian holiday, and one of Chef David DiGregorio’s favorite treats to prepare and share. Zeppole are available in packages of six ($18) or a dozen ($30). Call 312-642-8450 to place your order by Thursday, March 16 for pick up all day Saturday and Sunday.
Zeppole will also be on the menu in the pizzeria and dining room on St. Joseph’s Day, Monday, March 19.
